EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, I will only be doing DVDs of Episodes. VHS Tapes of episodes are no longer available.
So, you think Mystery Science Theater 3000 is dead huh? It is true that there will be no new episodes of MST3K, but that does not mean we cannot Access MST3K anyway!
How do I do that you ask?
In the early seasons of
MST3K on Comedy Central, there was a phrase at the end of every episode:
"Keep Circulating The
Tapes"
The purpose of this site is to
preserve MST3K by providing access to all the episodes of MST3K. Fortunately many fans had
the presence of mind to tape episodes of MST3K for posterity's sake. Fan copies of
episodes #K04 - 1013 are all circulating and are available from this site.
My original goal was simply to obtain a copy of every MST3K episode for my own personal collection. I did this by means of tape trading. I also noticed that many fans of the show really do not want to get involved in trading...they just want episodes. It was then I decided that I would make my fan copies of MST3K tapes available to all.
Please note that I DO NOT participate in the distribution of MST3K Episodes that are available by any other commercial means (ie. Rhino Home Video or the MST3K Info Club).I own every RHINO MST3K release, and purchase new ones as they are released even if I already have a fan copy.
Why do I do this, you may ask? After all, you already have every episode. I really have 3 reasons. First, it is a hobby. Second, I feel that Mystery Science Theater 3000 is one of the best television shows ever produced. Third, I want others to experience MST3K for years to come. Never has a show caused me to laugh so hard. I want to share the laughter that Best Brains, Inc. created for generations to come.
